About this role

Lead Software Engineer for Capital One's Enterprise Platforms Technology group, responsible for designing and delivering full-stack cloud-based solutions. Works with Agile teams, mentors engineers, and drives adoption of emerging technologies across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack solutions
Mentor engineers and participate in internal/external tech communities
Deliver cloud-based solutions using AWS/Azure/GCP
Work with frontend and backend languages across stacks
Leverage Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration

Technical Overview

Stack includes JavaScript/Java/TypeScript/HTML/CSS/SQL/Python/Go with Docker and Kubernetes; uses AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud; APIs and data stores including RDBMS and NoSQL.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior level full-stack engineer with 4+ years of software development experience and cloud exposure across AWS/Azure/GCP. They should be skilled in JavaScript, Java, and TypeScript with strong collaboration and mentoring abilities to drive Capital One's EPTech initiatives.

Must-Have Skills
