Lead Systems Engineer role focused on enterprise infrastructure leadership across on-premise and Microsoft Azure environments. You will design and standardize architecture, administer Active Directory and Citrix, manage Azure services, implement Meraki networking configurations, and act as the final escalation point for critical issues.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver scalable infrastructure solutions supporting business-critical applications
Define and standardize system and cloud architecture across on-prem and Azure environments
Provide advanced technical leadership across Windows Server, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, networking, and endpoint technologies
Serve as the final escalation point for complex infrastructure and cloud-related issues
Oversee system patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management and monitor/troubleshoot performance, availability, scalability

Technical Overview

This position covers Windows Server, Active Directory (including GPOs, DNS, DHCP), Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, enterprise networking, endpoint technologies, and Microsoft Azure (virtual machines, networking, connectivity). You will also implement and integrate Meraki networking configurations and manage patching, upgrades, monitoring, and troubleshooting for performance, availability, and scalability.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a lead-level infrastructure engineer with deep hands-on experience across Active Directory, Windows Server, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, and Microsoft Azure. They can define and standardize cloud and on-prem architecture, lead technical escalation for critical issues, and manage patching, upgrades, and system reliability improvements.
