Licensed Fire Suppression Designer designs and manages fire suppression systems across projects, leveraging CAD tools, engineering principles, and NFPA standards to deliver compliant, safe, and effective fire protection solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed fire suppression system designs using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other CAD tools
- Conduct root cause analysis on system failures or design issues
- Manage project schedules with clients and internal teams
- Perform system design calculations considering mechanical engineering principles, fluid dynamics, and safety standards
- Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers to develop comprehensive fire protection solutions
Technical Overview
Uses AutoCAD/SolidWorks for system designs; conducts design calculations; applies GD&T and PLC data collection; references NFPA codes; collaborates across civil, mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers; utilizes Python scripting for automation as needed
Ideal Candidate
