About this role

Lead Inspection Engineer for Metrology & NDE Level 3, responsible for inspection strategy, NDE method qualification, and mentorship across Level 1/2 staff; ensures compliance with NAS 410, SNT-TC-1A, and ISO 9712; leads NDE audits and digital inspection initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Act as NDE Level 3 authority for all covered methods
Develop and approve NDE techniques and written practices
Certify/recertify Level 1/2 personnel
Lead NDE audits and compliance activities
Monitor and introduce new NDE technologies

Technical Overview

Expert in NDE methods (UT, RT, PT, MT, ET, CT), metrology with CMMs, GD&T, MBD/digital inspection planning, and calibration/verification of inspection equipment; drives NDE improvements and NPI producibility reviews.

Ideal Candidate

Ideal candidate is an experienced NDE Level 3 professional in aerospace, with strong metrology and testing expertise, capable of leading inspection strategies, mentoring Level 1/2 staff, and guiding NDE audits and qualification activities.
