About this role

Loss Control Engineer supports nuclear insurance programs by coordinating external risk engineering inspections, evaluating risks, and leading risk mitigation actions for nuclear facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Service insurance programs including information for nuclear policy renewals
Assist with premium/distribution allocation and budgets
Loss control and insurance consulting for nuclear facilities
Coordinate inspections and follow up between plant contacts and insurers
Lead risk improvement projects

Technical Overview

Engineering focus with fire protection, NFPA standards, and nuclear plant risk assessment; strong data handling in Excel; stakeholder coordination for risk improvement projects.

Ideal Candidate

Mid-level engineer with nuclear plant experience and strong fire protection knowledge, NFPA and industry-standard risk practices, capable of coordinating insurer loss-control inspections and leading risk mitigation projects.
