About this role
Loss Control Engineer supports nuclear insurance programs by coordinating external risk engineering inspections, evaluating risks, and leading risk mitigation actions for nuclear facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Service insurance programs including information for nuclear policy renewals
- Assist with premium/distribution allocation and budgets
- Loss control and insurance consulting for nuclear facilities
- Coordinate inspections and follow up between plant contacts and insurers
- Lead risk improvement projects
Technical Overview
Engineering focus with fire protection, NFPA standards, and nuclear plant risk assessment; strong data handling in Excel; stakeholder coordination for risk improvement projects.
Ideal Candidate
Mid-level engineer with nuclear plant experience and strong fire protection knowledge, NFPA and industry-standard risk practices, capable of coordinating insurer loss-control inspections and leading risk mitigation projects.
