About this role
Machinery Diagnostics Field Engineer provides vibration-based diagnostics for rotating equipment, travels to customer sites, and delivers reports and recommendations to improve asset reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing machinery problems based on vibration data and operational data
- Travel to customer sites to provide supporting service
- Completing timely reports with findings and recommendations
- Building relationships with customers for rotating equipment health
- Calculating and overseeing balance weights
Technical Overview
Focus on vibration analysis and rotating machinery diagnostics; uses Bently Nevada/Cordant tools; requires offshore/on-site capability and HS&E adherence.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a field engineer with 2+ years of mechanical/rotating equipment experience, able to perform vibration analysis, read mechanical prints, and travel to offshore/onshore sites with TWIC and security clearances as needed.
Must-Have Skills
