Hadady, LLC (Caterpillar) is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic I to perform preventive and reactive maintenance on facilities and production equipment. The role includes troubleshooting, completing work orders through a maintenance work order database, and coordinating repairs/installs with vendors and technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain production equipment and machines
- Perform preventive, corrective and scheduled maintenance on machines and equipment
- Troubleshoot problems and identify potential solutions
- Complete work orders using Maintenance Work Order Database
- Coordinate with vendors and technicians for repairs and installations
Technical Overview
The mechanic will maintain production equipment using preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance practices, including familiarity with CNC controls. The position requires troubleshooting across hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems and executing work orders via the Maintenance Work Order Database.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level maintenance mechanic with 1+ years of mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in a machine shop, and hands-on knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. They can troubleshoot production equipment, complete work orders using a maintenance work order database, and coordinate with vendors and technicians across rotating shifts.
