About this role
This role supports manufacturing production by performing millwright maintenance on equipment, including troubleshooting, overhauls, installations, and change-overs. It also requires completing PMs on time, documenting work, and generating work orders and parts requests while maintaining a safe and clean work area.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines
- Ensure PMs are completed on time and documented
- Read blueprints and schematic drawings for repair/install work
- Generate parts requests and complete work orders
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic components using precision tools
Technical Overview
The position involves hands-on mechanical/equipment maintenance using precision tools (Vernier Calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauge blocks, OD tapes) and fabrication processes (arc welding, grinding, oxyacetylene cutting). It also expects computer skills with MS Office, maintenance management software, handheld scanners, and potential exposure to PLC programming.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a certified 433A Millwright who can perform immediate preventative and corrective maintenance on production lines. They are skilled in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems, reading blueprints and schematic drawings, and completing PMs with accurate work order and parts request documentation.
