About this role

Nordstrom is hiring a Maintenance Technician II for the Rack location in King of Prussia to support safe, well-maintained store operations. The role leads preventive maintenance, resolves electrical/mechanical issues, supports EMCS alarm troubleshooting, and maintains CMMS records while partnering with the Facility Manager and store leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform preventive maintenance across critical and non-critical equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems for store operations
  • Operate and monitor building controls and building systems; manage EMCS alarm troubleshooting
  • Conduct equipment and building rounds & readings and report/mitigate malfunctions
  • Update CMMS and assist with parts ordering, PO# creation, and vendor management

Technical Overview

This role focuses on facilities maintenance: preventive maintenance across HVAC, vertical transportation, and building systems; troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems; and operating building controls and associated equipment. The technician will use EMCS for alarm troubleshooting and update CMMS to maintain maintenance history and equipment records.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an experienced Maintenance Technician II with strong preventive maintenance execution and hands-on electrical/mechanical troubleshooting for retail facilities. They operate building controls and support EMCS alarm troubleshooting, while accurately maintaining maintenance work orders and equipment history in CMMS and mentoring other technicians.
