Maintenance Technician/Maintenance Tech maintains, repairs, and installs equipment, machinery, and facilities under direct supervision. The position performs scheduled preventative maintenance, mechanical inspections and repairs, troubleshooting, and applies OSHA and lock-out/tag-out safety practices.

The technician will work with mechanical equipment and machinery using hand tools and power tools, and safe operating procedures for hydraulic equipment, pneumatic equipment, presses, cordless drills, and clamps. They must read basic machine schematics with little guidance and learn measuring equipment to diagnose wear with accuracy of 0.001" using digital and dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, levels, and angle/depth gages.

The ideal candidate is an entry-level maintenance technician for a manufacturing environment, comfortable performing scheduled preventative maintenance and inspecting mechanical equipment. They must understand OSHA requirements and consistently apply lock-out/tag-out procedures, while using hand and power tools and learning measuring equipment to diagnose wear accurately.
