Maintenance Tech-Fontana supports Nucor Rebar Fabrication by repairing and maintaining fabrication equipment and troubleshooting issues to protect safety and production. The role emphasizes adherence to OSHA safety standards and basic electrical troubleshooting, along with documentation such as parts lists and labor time estimates.

Key Responsibilities

Support fabrication division with machine repair and troubleshooting
Follow OSHA safety standards and safety programs
Perform routine maintenance and ensure safe equipment operation
Troubleshoot, repair, and modify equipment for safety and efficiency
Generate parts lists and labor time estimates and maintain repair records

Technical Overview

Hands-on maintenance including machine repair, routine preventative maintenance, corrective repairs, and equipment troubleshooting/modification. Includes basic electrical theory and troubleshooting/installation/repair/maintenance of electronic equipment to maintain production efficiency and safety.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an entry-level maintenance professional with hands-on machine repair and troubleshooting experience who can follow OSHA safety standards. They bring basic electrical knowledge (electrical theory and troubleshooting electronic equipment), and they can produce accurate parts lists and labor time estimates while maintaining repair records.
