About this role
This Maintenance Technician 3 role supports the Facility Manager (FM) to keep Nordstrom stores’ equipment and building systems fully operational with maximum efficiency. The technician leads preventive maintenance, performs advanced troubleshooting, coordinates with vendors and outside contractors, and mentors Maintenance Technician 1 & 2.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute preventive maintenance (monthly/quarterly/semi-annual/annual) on critical and non-critical equipment
- Perform advanced break-fix and on-demand troubleshooting for store operations
- Operate building controls and troubleshoot alarms using EMCS command
- Maintain safety compliance (LOTO, PPE, working at heights, machine guarding) and codes/regulations
- Handle administrative maintenance tasks including parts ordering, PO# creation, and vendor management
