About this role
This role performs electro-mechanical maintenance and repair for all plant equipment. The technician follows the Maintenance Manager’s direction, completes work orders efficiently, diagnoses electrical malfunctions, and performs code-compliant repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Installs and repairs electrical systems and components for industrial machinery
- Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus using test equipment
- Tests and troubleshoots machinery in coordination with operators
- Replaces faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices
- Performs root cause analysis and follows OSHA/electrical code safe work practices
Technical Overview
You will troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems and components using test equipment. Work includes reading manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints, replacing damaged wiring/cables and components (relays, switches, position sensing devices), and performing root cause analysis; fabrication may include basic metal work with a welder.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a maintenance technician with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. They can read electrical prints/schematics/blueprints, use electrical test equipment, perform repairs (including motors, transformers, relays, and wiring/conduit), and complete work orders efficiently while following OSHA and electrical code safe practices.
