About this role
The Maintenance Technician installs and repairs electrical devices and maintains plant production equipment, utilities, and facilities through breakdown repairs and preventative/predictive maintenance. The role uses PLCs for troubleshooting, relies on mechanical and electrical blueprints, and completes work orders and time sheets in a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and repair electrical devices in the plant

- Complete parts requisitions, work orders, and time sheets in Computerized Maintenance Management System
- Use PLCs for routine troubleshooting and adhere to maintenance schedules
- Read and work from mechanical and electrical blueprints while following safe work practices
Technical Overview
This role combines electrical installation/repair with planned maintenance and machine troubleshooting. It includes PLC-based routine troubleshooting, blueprint-based work, and CMMS documentation for preventative/predictive maintenance scheduling across production equipment and plant utilities/buildings.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a maintenance technician who can independently install and repair electrical devices and perform breakdown, preventative, and predictive maintenance on production equipment, utilities, and building/grounds. They are proficient with PLCs for routine troubleshooting and can read mechanical and electrical blueprints, complete CMMS-based paperwork, and follow preventative/predictive maintenance schedules safely.
