About this role
The Maintenance Technician will perform machine maintenance and repairs for all plant equipment, following direction from the Maintenance Manager and completing work orders efficiently. The role includes diagnosing malfunctions, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring work is completed safely under OSHA and electrical code standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and repair mechanical components of industrial machinery
- Test malfunctioning machinery and diagnose malfunction
- Perform root cause analysis on equipment problems

- Perform basic metal fabrication using a welder and work from elevated surfaces
Technical Overview
This role emphasizes industrial maintenance diagnostics for machinery used in folding carton manufacturing, with hands-on work using test equipment, power tools, and basic welding for metal fabrication. The technician must be able to interpret manuals/blueprints/schematics, analyze equipment problems via root cause analysis, and use computer systems for basic tasks.
