About this role
This Maintenance Technician role ensures manufacturing machinery runs reliably by completing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and repairing components. The technician will document maintenance actions and maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on motors, pneumatic circuits, conveyor systems, and production machines
- Troubleshoot malfunctions using precision measuring and testing instruments
- Test performance of electrical/electronic/integrated systems and electrical assemblies
- Fabricate and repair parts using machine shop equipment
- Maintain safe and compliant working environment and produce maintenance work reports
Technical Overview
Hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance focused on motors, pneumatic circuits, conveyor systems, and production machines. Requires strong troubleshooting using schematics/blueprints and test instruments such as oscilloscopes and electronic multi-meters, with familiarity with AC and DC drives, PLC's, and associated control networks and I/O.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this Maintenance Technician role has an Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Automated Systems, Electronics Electrician (or equivalent) and strong hands-on experience with electrical maintenance. They can perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical/mechanical faults, read schematics and blueprints, and use test instruments like oscilloscopes and electronic multi-meters.
