The technician performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots issues, reads basic machine schematics, and uses measuring equipment (digital/dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, levels, angle and depth gages) plus shop tools (hydraulic equipment, pneumatic equipment, presses, cordless drills, clamps).

The ideal candidate is an entry-level Maintenance Technician who can perform routine scheduled preventative maintenance and maintain mechanical equipment in a manufacturing setting. They follow OSHA safety requirements and lock-out/tag-out procedures, demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, and can read basic machine schematics with minimal guidance.
