About this role
Perform troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventive maintenance for production tooling and facility equipment during 2nd shift. Support equipment uptime by reading work orders/manuals, documenting preventive maintenance, and coordinating as needed with outside contractors and engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production tooling and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and document maintenance activities
- Maintain equipment including overhead cranes, scissors lift, and forklifts
- Coordinate install/maintenance/repair needs with outside contractors
- Support facility maintenance with Manufacturing Engineer including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
Technical Overview
Hands-on maintenance covering mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Responsible for preventive maintenance on overhead cranes, scissors lift, and forklifts; and facility maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roof, and related building systems.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level Maintenance Technician with hands-on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment. They can perform preventive maintenance, maintain overhead cranes/scissors lifts/forklifts, coordinate with outside contractors, and are willing to train on 1st shift before moving to the 2nd shift schedule.
Must-Have Skills
