About this role
This is a maintenance lead role responsible for directing daily department activity and improving process equipment reliability. The lead technician manages preventive maintenance execution using Work Orders and eMaint, coordinates vendors/parts, and documents work in CMMS.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct daily maintenance department activity
- Use PM's and Work Orders via eMaint and audit PM effectiveness
- Troubleshoot and repair complex process and facilities equipment using schematics/technical drawings
- Fabricate machine parts using machine tools and welding equipment
- Document maintenance activity in CMMS and enforce safety procedures including lock out/tag out
Technical Overview
The role includes troubleshooting and repairing complex process and facilities equipment (e.g., filter machines, packaging machines, scales, conveyors, compressors, generators) using technical drawings and schematics. It also involves preventive maintenance (cleaning, inspection, lubrication), metal fabrication with machine tools and welding equipment, and strict adherence to safety procedures including lock out/tag out.
