Position Details
About this role
This role is responsible for safely and efficiently troubleshooting, repairing, building, and installing plant production and support equipment. It also includes maintaining preventive maintenance (PMs) on machines and support equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, build, and install plant production and support equipment
- Bend conduit, pull wire, and hook up equipment
- Maintain machine and support equipment PMs
- Perform assigned duties safely and efficiently
- Comply with qualifications for technical training and forklift license
Technical Overview
Hands-on maintenance covering electrical and hydraulic systems, including conduit bending, wire pulling, and equipment hookup. Requires blueprint comprehension, strong troubleshooting reasoning, and routine preventive maintenance on machines and support equipment.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a maintenance technician with at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, trained in operating electrical and hydraulic systems. They can troubleshoot machines with strong reasoning ability, read blueprints and follow work instructions, and are able to achieve and retain a forklift license.
