About this role
As a Maintenance and Construction Technician at Phillips 66’s Roberts Ranch Gas Plant, you will maintain and construct gas distribution facilities and equipment. The role involves organizing work plans, dispatching field crews for maintenance and emergency restoration, and completing administrative records and reports for jobs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan jobs and determine needed materials/equipment
- Dispatch field crews for construction, maintenance, and emergency restoration
- Perform maintenance work and provide work direction on site
- Inspect work for compliance with standards and regulations
- Maintain work order status logs and complete reports (property damage, pipeline repair)
Technical Overview
You will coordinate maintenance and construction activities for gas distribution systems including pipe, gauges, and valves. Responsibilities include inspection for compliance, work order and repair history tracking, and documentation for property damage and pipeline repair outcomes, while leading field safety procedures.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has 1+ years of Maintenance and Construction experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry, and a valid driver’s license. They are comfortable dispatching and directing field crews, inspecting work for safety and regulatory compliance, and maintaining detailed work order and repair history records. They are willing to travel between sites (including occasional overnight travel) and work overtime/weekends as needed.
