About this role

Maintenance Technician role at Whitebridge Pet Brands (General Mills) supporting production packaging and processing operations, sanitation, startup, changeover, and shutdown of operating equipment in a 24/5 environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with maintenance of production equipment
Support startup/changeover/shutdown
Complete work orders and PM tasks
Root cause analysis participation
Training new employees

Technical Overview

Hands-on maintenance of industrial machinery, electrical wiring, motor drivers, and electrical installations; root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives; basic IT tools for scheduling and reporting.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has at least a high school diploma with 1 year of food manufacturing experience, basic computer literacy (Excel/Outlook), and strong communication skills. A willingness to perform hands-on maintenance tasks, perform root cause analysis, and work overtime as needed is key.

Must-Have Skills
