About this role
This role manages day-to-day accounting and financial activities for the HPR business, covering A/R & A/P and monthly/quarterly close execution. The manager ensures inventory cost accounting is compliant with US GAAP, supports SOX and corporate reporting requirements, and leads audit engagements while partnering across finance leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close activities (journal entries review, reconciliations, reserves, roll-forwards)
- Ensure US GAAP-compliant inventory cost accounting and inventory reserve management
- Maintain SOX compliance and internal control structure effectiveness
- Oversee internal and external audit engagements
- Serve as ERP subject matter expert and drive continuous improvement in reporting and analytics
Technical Overview
Core technical scope includes financial close operations (journal entries, reconciliations, reserves, roll-forwards) and inventory accounting under US GAAP (including standard costing and inventory reserve management). The role also requires ERP system subject matter expertise and governance across SOX and internal controls.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior Accounting Manager experienced with end-to-end close processes (monthly and quarterly) and strong inventory cost accounting under US GAAP. They have SOX compliance experience, manage and develop accounting teams (including hybrid/remote), and act as an ERP subject matter expert while leading internal and external audit engagements.
