About this role

Lead the DeLand-based accounting and financial reporting team for DaVita Labs. Own month-end close accuracy, GAAP/SOX compliance, key reconciliations, and produce leadership-ready financial decks and variance explanations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages DeLand-based accounting and financial reporting team
  • Leads month-end close processes and ensures accuracy of journal entries
  • Reviews business transactions for GAAP guidance
  • Manages Accounts Payable and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Analyzes and explains financial statement variances for senior leadership

Technical Overview

Manage month-end close, journal entry review, and balance sheet reconciliation with strong GAAP and SOX adherence. Work with relational database concepts and advanced Microsoft Office tools to support financial reporting, analysis, and process improvements, including possible evaluation and implementation of financial systems/ERP.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-level accounting leader with 2+ years of management experience and strong ownership of month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting under GAAP and SOX. They have hands-on experience with Accounts Payable and balance sheet reconciliation, plus strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Preferred experience includes FP&A, ERP systems, and the ability to write SQL queries, along with an MAcc or CPA background.
