Technical Overview
Deep involvement with Below-the-Wing and Station Operations, baggage handling standards, and operational change governance using MS Office tools and specialized load-control software.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior operations leader with 5+ years airline experience, strong program management and cross-functional leadership skills, and the ability to oversee ground operations policies and audits.
Must-Have Skills
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experienceFive (5) years of Airline experienceThree (3) years of Airport experienceThree (3) years of leadership experienceAbility to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice based on operational and/or project needsExperience implementing large scale projects and tracking resultsExperience maintaining a public profile and skilled at building and maintaining relationships throughout the company at all levels; especially operational Crewmember involvement and feedback.Strong presentation skills and experience working with and presenting to senior executivesAvailable for occasional overnight travel (10%)Currently in possession of a valid passport or equivalent travel in and out of the United StatesMust be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) BadgeDepending on locationmay need to acquire and maintain a United States Customs ClearanceProficient with the Microsoft Office SuiteProficient with Flight Load MonitorCentral Load Controland Brock SmartSuite applicationsExcellent organizational and managerial skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust pass a pre-employment drug testMust be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is locatedAuthorization to work in the US is requiredthis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
