About this role
This role manages and coaches a team of customer-facing Solution Architects within AWS Global Sales. The manager enables solution selling, presentation, and value-driven architecture practices to help customers achieve business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and grow Solution Architects
- Enable best practices for solution selling, presentation, and speaking
- Develop value-driven architectures across varying complexity
- Partner with sales to enable business outcomes for customers
- Represent the team to executive management and collaborate across AWS departments
Technical Overview
The scope is technical leadership for cloud solutions architecture, including designing and presenting architectures of varying complexity. The manager also drives enablement and thought leadership around how technology creates customer value, partnering with AWS services, marketing, and professional services teams.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced technical leader who has worked as a Solutions Architect (or similar) and has managed a team of Solution Architects. They are credible in cloud solutions architecture, can coach solution-selling and presentation skills, and can build value-driven architectures for a wide range of enterprise customers.
