Manager, Data Science - AI for Data

Manage data science efforts for the AI for Data team, delivering AI-enabled features integrated across the data lifecycle. Partner with researchers, engineers, and enterprise data teams to build and iterate machine learning models that power next generation experiences.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-facing products
• Leverage Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, and Spark to develop ML solutions
• Build ML models through design, training, evaluation, validation, and implementation
• Iterate rapidly with researchers and engineers to improve the product experience
• Retrieve, combine, and analyze data from a variety of sources and structures

Uses Python-based data science tooling (Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark) to build machine learning models across the full development lifecycle: design through training, evaluation, validation, and implementation. Applies strong model evaluation methods (confusion matrix and ROC curve) and covers ML techniques including clustering, classification, sentiment analysis, time series, and deep learning.

The ideal candidate is a data science manager who can lead AI-enabled feature development across the data lifecycle, turning ambiguous problems into well-defined solutions. They are a hands-on machine learning builder using Python and cloud/big-data tools like AWS, Spark, and H2O, with strong statistical and model evaluation skills (confusion matrices and ROC curves) spanning clustering, classification, sentiment analysis, time series, and deep learning.
