About this role
The Distribution Manager leads warehouse operations to meet performance and profitability targets while ensuring strong safety compliance. The role oversees receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment (picking, packing, shipping), monitors accuracy and quality, and drives continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee receiving, storing, and issuing of products ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate order picking, packing, and shipping to meet customer deadlines
- Monitor order accuracy and implement quality control measures
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels
- Drive process improvement and efficiency-enhancing initiatives while leading and training associates
Technical Overview
Operational leadership for distribution/warehouse workflows including receiving, storing, issuing, order picking/packing/shipping, and inventory control with a focus on order accuracy and quality control measures. Expected systems exposure includes a Warehouse Management System plus SAP or AS400, and reporting using MSOffice Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint).

They have hands-on experience overseeing receiving, inventory control, order picking/packing/shipping, and they use warehouse metrics and reports to implement process improvements.
