About this role

Manager, Engineering leads Lean manufacturing initiatives and value stream optimization for Whirlpool Findlay operations. Responsible for mapping current and future state processes, reducing waste, and coordinating cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain Current State and Future State maps
Identify losses and cost savings in value streams
Lead cross-functional teams to drive waste reduction
Conduct rapid improvement events (Kaizen)
Analyze workstations using MODAPTS

Technical Overview

Experience with value stream mapping, Kaizen events, SMED, MODAPTS, root cause analysis, and BOM/product costing. Strong communication and project leadership in manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is a senior manufacturing engineer with 5+ years of experience, Lean background, and strong proficiency in value stream mapping and cost reduction projects within a manufacturing setting.
