Manager I, Plant Accounting

Responsible for overseeing plant accounting functions, including month-end processing, financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll, sales commissions, and accounts payable. Supports audit readiness and strengthens internal controls while improving cost accounting and financial analysis capabilities.

• Oversee month end processes and prepare financial reports
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries
• Perform GL Account and Bank Reconciliation and other reconciliations
• Maintain Accounting Policy database and implement control procedures
• Assist with internal and external audits and perform financial analysis and cost accounting

Plant accounting role focused on core accounting operations: journal entry preparation, GL and bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and maintenance of an accounting policy database. Involves identifying control gaps, implementing control procedures, and supporting internal/external audits, with emphasis on financial analysis and cost accounting.

The ideal candidate is a mid-level accounting professional with strong plant-level accounting ownership for month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations. They can independently manage payroll and accounts payable, support internal and external audits, and apply cost accounting skills to improve financial accuracy and controls.
