Manager, Incident Detection and Response

This role manages the cybersecurity incident detection and response function, leading a team and coordinating enterprise efforts during incidents. It also owns policy definition, security controls, budgeting, and leadership development including training and presentations.

• Manage cybersecurity team members and improve cybersecurity program maturity
• Define policy and recommend enterprise security controls
• Lead/coordinate Computer Incident Response Team activities and incident communications to senior leaders
• Manage operating and capital budgets and evaluate risk for security solutions
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability and enforce Acceptable Use Policy

Responsibilities focus on cybersecurity governance and incident response operations, including acting as a designated leader for the Computer Incident Response Team and ensuring confidentiality for investigations and forensics reviews. The manager also develops and funds implementation and management of enterprise-wide security controls.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Information Technology experience with at least 3 years in leadership covering continuous improvement and/or project management. They have managed a cybersecurity team and led incident response activities, including incident detection, Computer Incident Response Team leadership, and communicating incident details to senior leaders while coordinating with Privacy, Risk Management, Legal, and law enforcement.
