About this role
Leads Cardinal Health’s Software Asset Management (SAM) program to grow and optimize the enterprise software portfolio. Drives compliance, audit readiness, and measurable cost/value outcomes while maturing Flexera One and accelerating automation across the software lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise software license growth in SAM processes
- Own SAM outcomes across on-prem, SaaS, and cloud
- Manage software compliance, audit readiness, and financial risk
- Drive automation across the software lifecycle including contract ingestion and entitlement management
- Define and maintain SAM and FinOps-aligned KPIs
Technical Overview
Owns software asset management outcomes across on-prem, SaaS, and cloud environments. Operates as the solution owner for license renewal processes (Follow-the-Renewal) and supports automation from contract ingestion through entitlement management, usage analysis, harvesting, and reporting using Flexera One.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Software Asset Management (SAM) leader with experience managing enterprise software license portfolios across on-prem, SaaS, and cloud environments. They have hands-on experience with Flexera One and can drive compliance, audit readiness, and automation throughout the software lifecycle while leading a SAM team.
