About this role
Lab Equipment and Automation Support Engineering Manager leads a team of Production Support Engineers in a high-automation diagnostic molecular lab and drives continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, mentor and support a team of Production Support Engineers
- Drive continuous process improvement programs including asset management and uptime metrics
- Maintain SOPs and hand-off communication
- Troubleshoot down systems and escalate resources
- Manage staff schedules and communicate status to stakeholders
Technical Overview
Expertise in ISO 13485/15189, GMP/GLP/CLIA/CAP environments; NGS workflows; laboratory equipment deployment and maintenance; scheduling software; data analysis and KPIs.

The ideal candidate is a technically skilled lab equipment manager with hands-on experience in automated NGS workflows and a proven track record leading a team in a regulated lab environment.
