About this role

Senior Tactical Communications SME to manage TAK/Tak Server environments for ICE, providing 24/7 support, hardware/software integration, and cloud transitions while meeting federal security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain ICE TAK Server environments
  • Plan upgrades/expansions
  • Collaborate with ICE engineering teams
  • Install, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure
  • Implement and maintain security and DR/BC plans

Technical Overview

Stack includes TAK/Tactical Radios, MANET, TAK Server, VMware, Windows and Linux admin, DNS/DHCP/GP, SCCM, and cloud certifications (AWS). Active Secret clearance and US citizenship required.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior tactical communications engineer with 10+ years’ related experience, active Secret clearance, US citizenship, and deep expertise in TAK/Tak Server, MANET, and tactical data links. They should be proficient in Windows/Linux administration, VMware, SCCM, and cloud certifications, capable of supporting ICE TAK Server environments remotely with travel as needed.
