About this role
Managing Consultant leads complex ambulatory revenue cycle engagements, serving as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders and driving optimization initiatives including go-live readiness and post-implementation improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently lead and manage complex revenue cycle consulting engagements
- Primary client advisor, managing scope, timelines, risks
- Present findings and optimization roadmaps to executive leadership
- Facilitate working sessions with clinical, billing, and technical teams
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with processes
Technical Overview
Focus on scheduling, registration, charge capture, coding, prior authorizations, claims, denials, AR follow-up, and cash posting; deep knowledge of CPT/ICD-10; experience with EHR/PM platforms such as NextGen, Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Aprima, and ModMed.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior revenue cycle consultant with 7+ years of ambulatory revenue cycle leadership and strong consulting experience, comfortable managing client engagements and travel up to 75%.
