Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op at BorgWarner Arden campus offers hands-on opportunity within tooling design, AM, and process improvement across the production of turbo, fan, and fan drive components.
Key Responsibilities
- Time Studies and process evaluation for Quality, Cost, and Time improvements
- Support Engineers and Technicians daily manufacturing task
- Proactively work with engineering, production and Maintenance teams on projects
- Create & modify 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs and ECOs
- Setup, run, and maintain 3D printers
Technical Overview
Focus on Creo/SolidWorks/AutoCAD for 3D modeling and drafting; experience with 3D printing and additive manufacturing; tooling inspections and drafting of BOMs/ECOs; development of processes and layouts on shop floor
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mechanical engineering student pursuing a bachelor's degree, with exposure to Creo/SolidWorks/AutoCAD and additive manufacturing, and a grounding in tooling design and drafting for automotive manufacturing.
