Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op at BorgWarner Arden campus offers hands-on opportunity within tooling design, AM, and process improvement across the production of turbo, fan, and fan drive components.

Key Responsibilities

Time Studies and process evaluation for Quality, Cost, and Time improvements
Support Engineers and Technicians daily manufacturing task
Proactively work with engineering, production and Maintenance teams on projects
Create & modify 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs and ECOs
Setup, run, and maintain 3D printers

Technical Overview

Focus on Creo/SolidWorks/AutoCAD for 3D modeling and drafting; experience with 3D printing and additive manufacturing; tooling inspections and drafting of BOMs/ECOs; development of processes and layouts on shop floor

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mechanical engineering student pursuing a bachelor's degree, with exposure to Creo/SolidWorks/AutoCAD and additive manufacturing, and a grounding in tooling design and drafting for automotive manufacturing.

Must-Have Skills

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Nice-to-Have Skills

Proficiency with CreoSolidWorks and/or AutoCADExperience with Additive Manufacturing and AM polymersKnowledge of machining/weldingAutoCAD drafting
