About this role
This role leads production operations management across multiple manufacturing areas within a temperature-controlled FDA regulated facility. The Manager, Production Operation plans production schedules, ensures safe and compliant operations, manages quality issues, and owns budget and continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare manufacturing production schedules and workflows
- Ensure safe and compliant operations and address quality issues
- Drive budget execution and cost savings/efficiency improvement initiatives
- Lead teams with hiring, firing, coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews
- Drive continuous improvement using COS, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, SMED, 6S, and OEE

Non-software manufacturing leadership role focused on cGMP compliance, production scheduling (sequence/lead time), quality control using statistical process concepts, and continuous improvement methods such as COS (Cell Operating System), Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, SMED, 6S, and OEE.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a production/manufacturing leader who can manage/coordinate teams and processes across multiple manufacturing areas in a temperature-controlled FDA regulated facility. They have strong ownership of cGMP and Federal safety compliance and drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, SMED, 6S, and OEE.
