Market Coding Supervisor Remote Full Time Days

Supervise remote coding operations by planning, organizing, and facilitating technical coding and education functions for health information management. Lead coder training and compliance enforcement, audit documentation quality, and drive improvement in query and case-mix reporting processes.

• Plan and facilitate coding and education for health information management departments
• Train and evaluate coders in ICD-10-CM, CPT-4 and ED E/M coding
• Enforce NCCI compliance guidelines and maintain coding accuracy (98%)
• Review records for documentation deficiencies and improve processes via queries
• Supervise coder productivity and track case mix index (cmi) changes

Clinical revenue cycle coding leadership role centered on ICD-10-CM, CPT-4, APC's, emergency department evaluation and management coding, and compliance enforcement using NCCI guidelines. Includes auditing for documentation deficiencies, maintaining coding accuracy at least 98%, monitoring productivity, and analyzing case mix index (cmi) changes.

The ideal candidate is a Coding Supervisor with strong leadership experience overseeing coding education, auditing, and productivity for health information management departments. They must be proficient in ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding, understand NCCI compliance enforcement, and consistently maintain coding accuracy (target at least 98%). They also have experience with emergency department evaluation and management coding, documentation improvement processes, and case mix index reporting.
