About this role
The IT Manager ensures the property IT environment supports business goals safely, securely, and effectively. The role includes managing technology needs within budget, planning upgrades, coordinating vendors, and maintaining compliance and security risk escalation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage technology needs within budget targets
- Assist with CAPEX and operating budget input and ROI estimates
- Analyze and assess current IT landscape for upgrades and improvements
- Verify compliance with Marriott International Policies (MIPs) and implement solutions
- Order equipment and coordinate vendor invoices; conduct inventories and secure technology assets
Technical Overview
This role focuses on property IT infrastructure and hardware support, including repairs, installations, maintenance, inventorying applications and hardware, and documenting/ escalating security risks. It also supports CAPEX planning, technology upgrade assessment, and disaster recovery/business continuity related to technology.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an IT Manager with 2+ years of Information Technology experience who can ensure the property IT landscape supports business goals safely, securely, and effectively. They are comfortable analyzing current infrastructure, planning technology upgrades and CAPEX, and coordinating vendor invoices and contract compliance while maintaining asset security and escalating risk through Marriott International Policies (MIPs).
