About this role

Markets and Distribution Career Coach to support Greenwood Project scholars pursuing careers in distribution, wholesaling, sales, and relationship management within asset management. The role combines coaching with program design to prepare scholars for internships and full-time opportunities, using learning pathways and roadmaps to track progress in a remote, nonprofit setting.

Key Responsibilities

Support and coach a cohort of scholars through hybrid, virtual, and in-person programming with the goal of securing a junior year distribution and wholesaling internship
Provide structured one-on-one coaching focused on professional readiness, interview preparation
Facilitate small group and large group professional development sessions
Evaluate scholar progress using internal rubrics and roadmaps
Develop and oversee feedback systems with finance partners to monitor scholar performance during internships

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-level education professional with at least two years of experience in finance-focused program coaching, who can design learning pathways and drive internship readiness for scholars. They should excel at coaching, cross-functional collaboration, and building scalable training programs in a nonprofit education setting.

Must-Have Skills

Completed bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.Minimum of two years of professional experience within the financial services industry requiredspecifically in distributionwholesalingsalesor relationship management.Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and to think critically about the relationship between identityaccessand job performance.Experience designing feedback loopsperformance reviewsor development protocols focused on improving workplace outcomes.Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to align programssystemsor services.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions and measure impact.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsincluding the ability to present information clearly to different audiences.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamicfast-paced environment.
