About this role
GitHub is offering a remote, 12‑week MDM & Data Quality internship to help build and validate an Account domain PoC with a Solution Architect; the role focuses on data mapping, quality assessment, deduplication, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Solution Architect to audit and map Account data across source systems
- Design and test match/merge and survivorship rules
- Build and validate sandbox PoC Golden Record for Account domain
- Measure and report baseline data quality metrics
- Document PoC outcomes and handoff package
Technical Overview
Hands‑on data quality and MDM work involving SQL, CRM data (Salesforce), data modeling, and deduplication with a sandbox PoC for a Golden Record in the Account domain.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a data‑savvy intern pursuing a Master’s in a relevant field with hands‑on SQL and CRM data experience, aiming to build an MDm PoC and improve data quality. They should be able to map data across systems, document lineage, and propose governance improvements.
