About this role
This role supports production by organizing, presenting, and managing aircraft materials and tools. The Material Clerk coordinates with multiple departments to track materials, handle receiving and inspection, and complete packing, crating, and shipping with accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and present materials and tools to meet production schedules
- Maintain adequate inventory levels for production areas
- Coordinate receiving and inspect incoming goods for damage
- Perform packing, crating, and shipping duties with shipping documents
- Track material age and manage batch/material requirements with Material Requirements Planner
Technical Overview
Core responsibilities include material flow, batch/material age tracking, coordination with a Material Requirements Planner, and operating in shop conditions. The role requires hands-on familiarity with aircraft parts and the use of SAP and Microsoft Office.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced Material Clerk with at least 3 years of relevant experience in parts/material handling and strong familiarity with aircraft parts and parts control procedures. They can manage inventory flow, coordinate receiving/inspection, and complete packing, crating, and shipping documentation while using SAP and Microsoft Office effectively.
