About this role
Material Control Analyst coordinates parts/material control processes to provide visibility to management. The role tracks shipments, supports inventory/material flow improvements, resolves stock shortages, and drives auditing, exception management, and continuous cost savings initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Use computer to enter records and generate reports
- Track shipments to ensure shipment deadlines are met
- Follow daily parts control function including track and trace, production schedule analysis, and exception management
- Work with customer to resolve stock shortages
- Identify cost savings opportunities for the customer

They are highly analytical, proficient with Excel and Outlook, and comfortable managing shipment tracking, exception management, and customer inventory issues. They can build metrics dashboards and help drive continuous cost savings and process improvements.
