Material Handler

Sr Materials Specialist / Material Handler role focused on building and maintaining accurate material kits, staging and delivering them to production, and ensuring correct parts through verification with lot traceability and revision levels. The position also supports inventory control via ERP/warehouse management systems and includes compliant handling of ITAR/EAR-controlled materials.

• Create and maintain complete material kits.
• Stage kits in designated areas and deliver to production based on schedule and priority.
• Accurately pick and verify parts with correct quantities, lot traceability, and revision levels.
• Store materials following inventory control procedures and maintain inventory accuracy using ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Coordinate kitting and distribution; handle sensitive, controlled, or classified materials in accordance with ITAR and EAR.

Works in a warehouse/materials environment using ERP and warehouse management systems to maintain inventory accuracy, perform cycle counts and reconciliation, and control kitting and distribution across programs. Handles controlled/classified materials under ITAR and EAR and operates forklifts and other material handling equipment.

The ideal candidate is a senior-level materials professional with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in material handling, kitting, and inventory accuracy within manufacturing operations. They are detail-oriented, strong in picking/verification with lot traceability and revision levels, and comfortable using ERP or warehouse management systems to support cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation. They also have experience handling controlled or classified materials in compliance with ITAR and EAR and operate forklifts safely.
