Univar Solutions is hiring a Material Handler for the Commerce, CA location to mix and package products, maintain inventory, and support shipping and receiving. The role includes hazardous materials and hazardous waste handling, completion of inspections and paperwork, and maintaining warehouse equipment and cleanliness while following quality and safety procedures.

- Mix and package products
- Perform shipping and receiving and maintain inventory levels
- Load and unload trucks and carriers using forklift and required equipment
- Handle hazardous materials and hazardous waste including inspections and paperwork
- Clean and maintain warehouse/equipment and support emergency response
Technical Overview
This is a warehouse and hazardous waste handling role requiring forklift/industrial powered lift truck operation, hazardous waste handling and documentation, and compliance knowledge of cGMP requirements as they pertain to FDARP (facility-specific). The position also requires the ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment and participate in the emergency response team.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level warehouse worker who can operate a forklift/industrial powered lift truck safely and has experience or training in shipping and receiving. They are capable of handling hazardous waste and hazardous materials with correct procedures, understand cGMP requirements related to FDARP, and can use and maintain respiratory protection equipment.
