About this role
This entry-level role maintains the flow of materials and products in a yard/warehouse environment under direct supervision. The Material Handler physically handles items and operates material handling equipment while following safety procedures in a production setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Physically handle materials to optimize movement of items
- Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment
- Follow and learn from training provided by foreman or senior handlers
- Observe all safety procedures and attend periodic safety meetings
- Lift, carry, and stack items as needed within physical requirements
