About this role
This is a part-time Meat Clerk role responsible for receiving, rotating, wrapping, and merchandising fresh and processed meats. The clerk supports members with product questions and recommendations while maintaining department cleaning and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats
- Assist members with questions and product recommendations
- Maintain all cleaning and safety standards
- Execute GOLD Member Standards daily (GAA and Fast, Friendly Full, Fresh, Clean)
- Understand and connect departmental production/financial performance to execution impact
Technical Overview
Non-technical operational role focused on meat department execution, food merchandising, and safety compliance. Includes basic knowledge of production and/or financial performance reporting access for the department.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level part-time retail associate experienced in meat department merchandising and fresh food handling. They can maintain cleaning and safety standards, execute GOLD Member Standards daily, and provide friendly, member-focused service by answering questions and recommending products.
