Key Responsibilities
- Assist In the Direction, Analysis, And Detailed Design of Components as a part of an Advanced Emissions Program
- Translate Customer Requirements into Powertrain and Engine Technical Requirements
- Lead Packaging Studies Between Our Engines and Vehicle Platforms
- Develop Vehicle Impact Analysis Reports & Lead Open Issues to Resolution
- Create And Lead Engine Supplier & Internal Engineering Meetings for Key Engine Programs
Technical Overview
Hands-on mechanical design with Creo Parametric/Pro-E, packaging studies, and collaboration with suppliers. Emphasis on Six Sigma processes and cross-functional project execution within a manufacturing setting.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on mechanical engineer with 1-3+ years in heavy-truck or engine design, proficient in Creo Parametric and Pro-E, and with Design for Six Sigma experience. Strong collaboration and a willingness to travel up to 10% are essential.
