This role identifies and performs tasks independently to meet Vistra objectives and supports data gathering and analysis to solve complex problems. The position coordinates projects and prepares reports and recommendations while maintaining effective working relationships across boundaries.

Technical Overview
The scope includes leading interpretation and analysis of complex mechanical/electrical issues in a nuclear power plant context, with attention to MOV program commitments and valve/actuator diagnostics when applicable. It also involves report preparation, engineering problem-solving, and understanding power plant equipment interrelationships.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 6 years of relevant experience, comfortable working independently to interpret complex issues and drive solutions. They have strong safety discipline, experience with power plant equipment interrelationships, and familiarity with valve/actuator MOV diagnostic tools like VOTES Infinity, Quiklook, and MIDAS MOV.
