About this role
This role is a process engineering position at the caster focused on improving safety and housekeeping and performing metallurgical and process analysis. The engineer will support both long-term and short-term improvement projects and handle day-to-day operational issues.

You will analyze and optimize caster-related metallurgical and process performance, supporting systematic improvements across safety, housekeeping, and production operations. The technical focus is medium/thick slab casting processes with continuous improvement through analysis and project work.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a process engineer with a 4-year technical degree (or equivalent) and strong experience supporting medium to thick slab casting operations. They demonstrate an ability to lead safety and housekeeping standards while performing metallurgical and process analysis to improve productivity and stability through short- and long-term projects.
